Advancements in mobile payment technology have significantly transformed lifestyles and business operations. Generation Z and social media play crucial roles in mobile payment adoption. This study aims to identify factors influencing Generation Z’s willingness to adopt mobile payments. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was used to analyze data from 257 respondents who are mobile payment and social media users in the Jabodetabek area. The findings indicate that Perceived Ease of Use, Social Media Platforms, and Trust significantly influence Behavioral Intention to adopt mobile payment services. Trust also serves as a crucial mediating factor in the adoption process among Generation Z. Additionally, the study reveals that enhancing trust and leveraging social media platforms can substantially increase mobile payment adoption among Generation Z. These insights are vital for mobile payment providers and policymakers to develop strategies that foster digital financial inclusion and promote sustainable economic practices.
