He currently serves as Campus Director of BINUS @Bekasi, and is notable for being the 32nd Tenured Professor to be appointed by BINUS UNIVERSITY, holding the titles of Ph.D., CA and CFE. He joined BINUS University as a lecturer in 2008. His dedication and capabilities in the academic field have led to him being entrusted with various positions at BINUS, ranging from Head of Programme, Head of Department, Dean of Faculty, to Campus Director.

In terms of his education, Prof. Gatot completed his Bachelor’s degree in the Department of Accounting at Gadjah Mada University (UGM), graduating with honours; his Master’s degree in the Master of Business in Accounting programme at Monash University, Australia, where he was named a Highest Achieving Graduate (Top Graduate); and his Doctorate (PhD) in Accounting at Monash University, Australia. His Master’s and PhD studies were funded by a scholarship from the Australia Awards, provided by the Australian Government.

In addition, Prof. Gatot has further enhanced his expertise by obtaining professional certifications such as: Chartered Accountant (CA) from Indonesia, Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) from Australia, and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) from the United States.

In terms of work experience, Prof. Gatot has worked as a financial auditor at Ernst & Young Indonesia, a grantee auditor at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Indonesia, and a Programme Assistant in the Child Protection Unit at the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Indonesia.
